Even in these rule restricting times they still give a warm friendly welcome and excellent service. Always guaranteed an excellent, home cooked, fantastic value meal here. The chips are the BEST!!!!! The recently introduced cocktails are absolutely amazing!

I love dining here. It is a friendly village pub with a real fire in the bar. It has a rear room (lounge) used mainly for dining. We always visit at lunchtime and book a table to ensure we can get a meal. There is always a vegetarian option and don't forget to examine the blackboard. Specials are exactly that. Portions are generous, and don't be afraid to ask for a doggy bag. Never had a bad meal here.
Absolutely lovely helpful staff. Excellent food. A really great place. We felt really safe in these uncertain times. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Xxx
This was our first visit to The Royal Oak, we were all that impressed with the quality of the food and the service that we booked a table for Boxing Day dinner. I look forward to dinning there again
Really, really good. I went here yesterday because I saw that they have a good vegan menu and I wasn't disappointed. The choice was excellent and the food itself was first class. The staff were really polite and friendly. I'm sure that if I lived locally I would eat there regularly.
