Only popped in briefly, but I saw a real community pub. Very nicely run.
This is where the Deal Folk Club meets each Friday evening. The Royal Marines Association is very welcoming to folkies, who can refresh themselves with attractively priced beer before, after and during their musical efforts. Folk music sessions are held upstairs in a separate function room.
Many happy memories. Same great atmosphere.
