Came here for dinner just before lockdown and booked by phone. Shown into bar with good distancing. Good selection of beers and wines. There were still specials which isn't the case in a number of other pubs in the area. We selected olive starters with duck and skate main courses(from the specials) for 2 with glasses of wine each. They were wonderfully cooked and presented - good quantity and excellent taste. Throughout the service was great and there was a nice atmosphere. The total cost was under 50 for two which is very goog - again the best pub food in Portishead for me

Lovely atmosphere, tasty food, plenty of choice on the menu. Glad we chose here to enjoy lunch. Dog friendly (although we didn't bring ours) Great location too - great walks / runs / or just a great spot for a drive to.
Great Sunday dinner just before being locked down again. Staff very attentive and upbeat despite a gloomy looking few weeks ahead. Great service and decent meal. Thanks
Amazing pub with amazing food who have kept people going with there amazing meals through the covid lockdown. Great value and in an amazing setting too. Very helpful and friendly staff who also welcome dogs in there huge garden when aloud.
Went for Sunday lunch, really well organised, no covid worries, all the staff were very polite and attentive. Food was great, loads of lamb on the lamb shank and beef was cooked perfectly. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing and worth going in just for that. Recommended.
