We recently had a takeaway roast dinner from the George and it was absolutely delicious. Well planned and executed during such difficult times. We have been in to the pub previously and even then things were excellent Great food great staff and well priced.
We visited on a Saturday evening for a meal. The service by the friendly staff was excellent and all the food was great. Very tasty, well presented and good portions, including the usual children's menu options. Our kids were quite noisy as a bit over excited after a long time in the car, but we never felt like we were receiving any disapproving looks from staff or other customers, which also really helps our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area again.
