Great local pub with very sophisticated vibe. Large variety of drinks and pub grub plus sit down dining available. Sometimes it's difficult to park nearby but ideal for waking locals.

Such a lovely place to eat! We came here twice recently whilst away visiting the Cotswolds. Firstly, we went on Wednesday burger night and it was amazing. Then we went again on Friday for pizza night. All the food is fresh and homemade. The burgers were huge and quality meat, and the pizzas were stone baked. The Royal was also really clean and safe in terms of covid 19. Would highly recommend this place!
Before lockdown we had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Royal with a really nice veggie option available. The service was great even though it was a packed out day. We've also been since they've reopened and happy to report that the service was great again and the range of lunchtime veggie options was large. My husband also had a burger which he enjoyed. Really friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere and even offering takeaway at the moment. We're looking forward to burger Wednesday and pizza Friday at some point in the not to distant future.
Nice Beef and Pork Sunday roast
Excelent quality food, you can tell the care team and attention that goes into every plate, good covid measures, tables well spaced out. Service isn't fast, but that suits a lesuirely meal. Highly recommended.
