Called in by chance yesterday as we wanted to get some lunch. Although we hadn't made a booking we were offered a table on the understanding there was a reserved booking in an hour. That suited us well so we ordered the large fish and chips. Well worth it - huge fish cooked beautifully and generous portions of mushy peas and chips. Friendly welcome and service throughout. Great value for money and well worth it. Planning to pay the Roseycombe another visit before lockdown this week. Looking forward to it.

1st time coming and by far the best place I’ve been too, food quality was amazing the staff were very welcoming and polite and well presented. Perfect for a family meal or any kind of occasion, was over the moon with the food very cheap and very nice, recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Well done to the team.
The pub was large and inviting. The decorative items on the walls and shelves are a bit dated. The team were pleasant enough and very good service. The food though was a bit poor chips were soggy and sausage batch was okay.
Service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. The braised steak was pack full of flavour and just fell apart! Garlic bread was awesome too!
We have been a frequent visitor and the reason for this is that the food is first class, the staff are friendly and efficient. They always make you feel welcome. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
