Went here with my daughter two nights on the trot when having a little mini break, 'staycation' in Brightlingsea. The food is superb. Staff are friendly and they also have a good selection of well kept ales too. There mac and cheese is to to die for and there varied selection of fresh seafood options is great and all super tasty. This is definitely one of the best local restaurants I've been too in some time

Nice place, friendly welcome and some interesting local real ales, particularly the Encore. Mussels and King Prawn with chorizo Mac & cheese were excellent. Quiet lunch time with only a few customers; staff laid back. Great views from the garden.
Does excellent seafood from an on-site smoke house. Great range off local beer too. Really good Sunday lunch.
Crazy times but the Rosebud provided a little piece of normality. Great service the staff were so accommodating. The food was excellent. We will definitely go again.
Stunning views, great service. The food was lovely and with generous portions. Nice staff and good location. It's pink so you'll never miss it.
