Stopped for an unplanned lunch during a nice local walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the fish and chips was excellent. Everything was fresh, well cooked and generously portioned. Dessert was the same. The pub takes their Covid restrictions seriously but we were still made to feel safe as well as welcome. Thanks you very much

I stopped coming to this pub a few years ago as it lacked atmosphere. Today we sought refuge here having been caught in a downpour with our dogs! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and adhered to the government's guidelines for covid. The food was good pub grub I will be returning

Beautiful pub friendly staff homely atmosphere also noticed very dog friendly. Was only passing through but will definitely visit again
