We had a preorder for Sunday, I got mixed up and thought it was Sunday today (I now am aware it's Saturday ) so rung to see where the food was... the staff were so so lovely, told me not to worry at all and delivered our food very swiftly! The food was absolutely immense!! I would highly recommend, fabulous staff and amazing food!!

Visited for evening meal with my friend and our 2 boys as was staying at rock & river activity park up the road. Covid regulations were in place and very strict. Staff were very good they were very helpful and checked in on us a number of times. I had the burger which was amazing probably one of the best I've had. My sons autistic and was please that the beans came in a separate pot rather than on the plate. Throughly enjoyable meal and very tasty. Woukd definitely recommend and return if back in the area.
I went on Saturday with my husband and sister in law for my husbands birthday, the set up was safe and easy to follow. Craig, Tom and staff are doing an excellent job. The food was delicious and piping hot. I will be going back and would highly recommend this establishment. Keep up the good work guys xx
Not visited here for quite some time,and things were certainly a bit different this time round - any guesses why The Rose and crown is a traditional sort of pub and eatery,and offer an extensive menu and drinks selection,including house and guest ales.they brought the drinks to you - you couldn't order at the bar. The food menu is quite extensive with a specials and regular menu. Generous portions when served up.i had home made steak pie and chips and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - my favourite - can't go wrong really! The staff were friendly and service was fast (Not too fast) I hasten to add. This was the day before the second national 'Lockdown' so just made it in time - phew! Would visit again,when legislation permits (sic).
