Really great pub, considered menu with seasonal produce and children's options. Nice atmosphere which is no mean feat in the covid world we currently exist in. We had an excellent dinner and Sunday lunch whilst staying nearby. Cherry and almond tart gets a special mention, served with cherry ice cream it was just wonderful! Thanks Rose and crown!

A nice pub to eat in, and very nice grub. The tables albeit we were outside were well spaced out. Would thoroughly recommend.
Great to see them back open! Monday night is burger night but hard to resist their steak and red wine pie... good ale selection too
Had Sunday lunch here. Portions were great (even the child's 1/2 portion) and quality was excellent. Rounded off with excellent service from the staff. Would advise booking though if you want a table inside!
