Yet another excellent lunch here. We love to walk here from Malmesbury and sit in the nice big beer garden when the weather is good. This was the first time we have sat inside for a while and it was really nice - good distancing and sensible Covid-19 measures. The food here is consistently great - scampi and chips, goats cheese salad, fish and chips were all very tasty. Plus they went the extra mile to deliver sausages to a 6 year old who doesn't like his sausages brown!! Thank you to all at the R&C - look forward to seeing you again soon!

Lovely village pub, with a great menu. It’s an Arkell’s house, but the beer was well kept.
Well done for Kelsie and Ollie opening up after the lockdown. They have a great Tier 2 menu so everybody can turn up, have a beer with a well priced \substantial meal\. Service and hospitality second to none
Lovely Sunday roast and desserts. Good adherence to social distancing measures. Staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the service was slow, which let it down.
One of our favourite pubs and it’s very dog friendly! There is an excellent selection of drinks and the food is fantastic. There are plenty of great vegetarian options too. It’s the perfect location to going on a county walk to or from. They host a fantastic pub quiz and the staff are all very friendly.
