Lovely little stop just off the M5 near Tiverton. Peaceful, dog friendly, venue surrounded by paddocks and panoramic views over hillsides. Great food and a cosy fire. The Landlords are lovely, really friendly and inviting. Decent prices. Clean toilets and parking for approx. 10 cars. Good disabled access to the rear. Perfect, relaxing spot to break up a journey heading north or south along the M5. I look forward to my next trip!

Eat here on Saturday 24th October and the food was fantastic. The landlord and staff made us feel very welcome, so we went back on Sunday for lunch. Well worth a visit.
Just had a lovely Sunday Roast at the Rose & Crown with friends we haven't seen snce last year. Cooked to perfection and lovely and hot. Looking forward to our next visit in a month or two when we have a friend staying with us.

We had a fantastic meal at the Rose & Crown in Tiverton, we were a party of 12 and all food was great. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend.
