The Rose & Crown

Have not been in the Rose and Crown for 56 years. But today I had good company, good food, and a couple of pints. It's still an old fashioned pub. Please do not let that detract, from the first class service from the waitresses, cleanliness, food and lastly the beer, which I think is brewed on the premises. This afternoon was a great time, the last thing to mention is that you have to book, so phone them up make a reservation and have a great time, you could even catch a taxi...

Friendly staff, cosy pub with big portions. Food very down to earth. Although tables were spaced out, too many visitors wondering around pub without masks on. Ditto staff too.

Due to the restrictions we looked like all our meals were cancelled, Step in the Rose and Crown, they have just delivered our Christmas Eve meal and it was beautiful, and the pudding to follow was fantastic, we cannot thank you enough for sorting this, the only thing that could have made it better was sitting in your lounge bar eating it in front of your log fire. Have a great Xmas and thank you.
