The place was great...!!! Family friendly. The outdoor space was amazing. Everyone was happy and cheerful. The food was good. Good portions. The service was par excellence...!!! Definitely a repeat visit...!!!

Lovely food and sunny garden, used an app to order the drink and food which was really tasty. Really well prepared for social distancing, you have to check in on entry and they do strictly adhere to rule of 6, including infants if you're from different households, which we were. They sat us on 2 adjacent tables in the garden so it wasn't an issue to be split. They wash down tables after use which was the most thorough clean I've seen.
I popped in to get a quick lunch. The staff were friendly and efficient that's why they got a star. Other than that my pint of Young's was just about acceptable, however the food was a different matter. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie. This was on the menu as a white bloomer pan fried in butter with crisps and salad. What I got a standard medium sliced sandwich which was toasted. This was truly disappointing. The ham was ordinary and out of a packet, the cheese was not mature and the crisps were past their best. Salad was good. All this for 9.85 which I thought was high but it sounded good. I was in a hurry so ate up, paid up (13.20) and left. I hope they read my review and make some changes and inform customers of what they are actually getting. I will not be rushing back.
Was there this evening for dinner. Beautiful food, well worth the money. Great and friendly service.
Lovely pub with very friendly staff. The food is also very good. Although I did find the chips a bit greasy, but still very nice anyway. It's a great place to have a birthday or any special event. This pub is definitely worth going to, so do give it a try.
