A great local country pub with traditional atmosphere. Good selection of real ale and cider at the bar. A fantastic place to while away a sunny afternoon with a cold drink in a lovely village. The reason you should really visit though is the food which is brilliant and tasty. However the highlight is the excellent bar and serving staff who are friendly, welcoming and chatty, (especially the lovely lady with ginger hair) which just makes this a great all rounder.

Great food , dog friendly, great food, friendly staff, great food, plenty of space, good prices and oh - did I mention the food? Nice walk to the adjoining church area to view the fields behind and imagining them under water, putting a different viewpoint. Looking forward to return visit - Boris allowing!

Really lovely spot tucked away. Good was delicious and staff were really helpful. Looks as though they've got great deals on food during the week too (2 mains for 16 I think) Monday-Wedneaday 5.15-8.15, so we'll definitely be back soon for that!

Lovely food. Good atmosphere. New owners are running it well. Have been there a few times with friends and family
