This whole experience was great from start to finish. Excellent personal relaxed service. The steak and ale pie was amazing. It was our first time visiting but it definitely will not be our last. Fantastic

Good simple honest and hearty food, with great friendly service to match !!! I'd cycled 100 miles that day and he sat me next to a radiator so I could put my gloves and helmet on it whilst I ate, facing the window so I could keep an eye on my bike... Just thoughtful !!! Fab :) will definitely go back if I'm in the area !!!

Lovely visit to the Rose & Crown yesterday. Got the chance to sit in the garden to eat due to the lovely weather. Decor is really nice and staff were very welcoming. Garden area is great with connection to a playing field behind which is perfect for the kids to burn off some energy! Food was really good, the chicken skewers were delicious. Portion sizes were great and everyone enjoyed their meals. Very Covid safe which brought only downside of needing to visit the bar to get drinks each time rather than table service. Definitely worth a visit!

A quirky pub with beautiful interior. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful making you feel at ease, explaining the menu and specials. Nothing is too much trouble, lovely food with really decent portion sizes.
