Went for Sunday lunch and it got very busy while we were there. Very slow with only 2 staff serving a lot of tables. We waited a long time after finishing our main course and no one came to ask if we wanted anything else. We would have had dessert but didn't want a further long delay once ordering so just paid and left. Food was average.

Wonderful midday dining experience. We were passing on the way home and were hungry keeping an eye out for somewhere to drop in. After passing one sign we saw a second and headed in. On arrival the young lady behind the bar was very polite and well mannered. We ordered our drinks and another young lady showed us to our seat's. The waitress checked we were comfortable with the table we were seated at and very pleasant when taking our order. The restaurant was half full and the environment extremely tranquil. Food arrived quickly and the young lady serving us could not be more helpful. The food was lovely and very filling we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you.

The food was simple and well presented. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and the Covid systems worked well. We enjoyed our meal and would visit again. Many thanks

Pleasurable place, decent Sunday roast in the garden for fair price, good service, plenty of distance between tables, dog welcomed. Car park at rear, kids play area. Most enjoyable afternoon. Thankyou

We came here for a family lunch and it was lovely, great menu, a good selection of options, good beers and ales available. Desserts were divine and it was quiet. It is out in the sticks but plenty of parking and i would make the journey again! I had the Scampi and then a Toffee Apple Tarte Tatin, the picture may not show it best but the pudding was so lovely, the toffee sauce was really yummy! Great service from two different people too
