Great place to go for a walk , lovely views and little bit of history , in the woodland located next to the site there is a little maze that's been made , recommend visiting this place!

Ancient stones in a circle formation (Kings Men) from between 3800-2500 B.C. Fairly small stones and site (compared to other stone circles in Cumbria etc), but very impressive that they've lasted here for almost 6000 years. Decent lay-by alongside for parking.

In the Sun, there are some lovely views here. There's not much walking needed to see the 3 sites, but there are further walks you can do, if so inclined. When hard and dry under foot, some of the sites could even be accessible by a wheelchair, when careful. Parking is an issue on a lovely day as the layby parking.

Legendary neolithic site popular on summer nights with the local witches and druids. Beautiful location, amazing views, and a small but well preserved collection of standing stones. The place is free, but a donation is requested. Parking is minimal - a couple of road side bays that hold maybe ten cars. On a Monday morning in summer there was enough space. Weekends might be tough.

So atmospheric, these stones stand on the ridge just south of Long Compton - they have been there for an incredibly long time, and they do look old and weathered - if only they could speak and tell the sights they have seen! A quiet spot well worth a visit.
