Quaint little village pub which looks like it has loads of history. Particularly appealing from the outside and more functional inside. But actually has a surprisingly large number of tables in dining area extension. Also, a really helpful Landlord who couldn't do more for you, good food and lovely beer eg Hook Norton. Highly recommended.

Extremely attentive and friendly. Stunning food, timely and tasty. Easy to book a table and work around your needs. Now we are local, we will definitely be revisiting.
The landlord Nick is a real character, top bloke and looks after his customers really well. Good old fashioned pub food and a nice atmosphere.
I thought I'd already written this review but maybe I failed to press 'post'. Anyway, we we had a really excellent snack served by a friendly and helpful barman. A pleasant stop.
Not much atmosphere but a decent pint and food on offer. Stopped off for food and a drink to break up a long journey. Good selection of ales and all the usual pub classics on the menu.
