Tasty meals and good selection of drinks on offer. There is a heated outside area built inside a wooden shed that is great for meeting people outdoors in the winter, whilst also going by all social distancing guidelines! Staff are very friendly and accommodating too! Definitely a shining jewel in the selection of Wimborne pubs.

Had a great time at the Rising Sun. Steve and all the team made us SO welcome, good beer, great food and so pleasant sitting outside. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

The wife & I called in for lunch with our dog after a walk. Very glad we did too. We both had the beef roast. Plenty of fresh veg, three big roast potatoes,big Yorkshire pudding, two slices of beef & plenty of gravy. With 50% off 2 pints & a latte the bill was just over 20. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Highly recommend & will be returning.

Covid secure. Love this place, we just moved in somewhere 30 seconds away. Food is always good, or great! Prices are very reasonable for the area and staff/owners always very accommodating. High praise and always enjoyed. The dog loves going too!

First time here. Originally came for food but none available at the time so we just had a couple of pints instead. Great place right along the river. Lots of seating inside and outdoor which is where you want to be in the summer. We will definitely be back during that time and get food next time too! Small parking lot in the back.
