Gorgeous place to eat. Food was delicious and high quality. Generous portions and excellent money for value. The staff was nice and the place looks super cozy. The beer garden is also gorgeous, away from traffic, it really is a place where you can enjoy your food and drinks and relax

I’ve had the pleasure of eating at The Rising Sun 3 times now, on all 3 occasions The service and quality of the food has been great and very welcoming, I would definitely continue to go. Sitting in the garden in the sunshine with their 2 awesome dogs was very fun. Thanks to Kate the new land lady who has definitely worked hard during this unusual time, I hope she is rewarded by the local community for her hard work. Thanks a lot.
This is the best pub we know and landlady Kate is what keeps us returning and the great food of course. So friendly and accommodating and fabulous staff too. The 45 minute drive is well worth the visit every time

Really impressed with this lovely pub in a very peaceful setting. We received a very warm welcome, all Covid measures in place made us feel safe, staff were attentive and friendly, plenty of free parking, great garden and delicious food. We booked online, and Kate was very prompt in confirming our booking too. Will definitely be returning!
