Lovely pub with a great children's park to play in. Yes the food orders took a while to be sent out, but this was because of COVID-19 and the Eat Out offer they had going so it was busy and they did inform us before we placed our order. That being said I think the wait was definitely worth it, the good was lovely. Will definitely be going back again. Staff all lovely and everyone's kids had room to burn off their energy outside.

Very nice pub. Old place and nice wood fire. Great selection of beer and very nice food. Can't recommend the chocolate cake enough (triple layer I think) amazing! Bar staff aren't all the nicest however but the lady who I think is the manager seems very nice! Sent our food back as the cream was just old and also the lunch was stone cold but sorted without a problem! Photo for details for recommendation for pudding! Delicious. Will definitely be going back even if only for the cake ha! Other photon also goof dessert but not as good
Good food. Great Dorset apple cake! Could do with being a bit more generous when it comes to gravy on the roast dinner.

Serves food, but I wouldn't call it good pub grub. It serves a purpose, but there are better places in the New Forest. Yes, it has a handy location, but nowhere in the New Forest is far away from anywhere else. Staff, in general, were courteous. Price wasn't too bad, pretty par for the course when it comes to a pub. So I don't feel as though I overpaid, just that I didn't get the great food that others have raved about. I didn't feel it was overly busy when we arrived, so not sure I could put it down to that. Oh, and they should really put a sign up for where the toilets are, as I don't think I saw one person not have to ask.
