We had a lovely lunch (roast, soup and risotto) truly enjoyable. And the deserts didn't desappoint either. They were delicious and nicely presented/served. The pub was fully booked but they add us (5) in to accommodate and were very friendly and concerned we were comfortably seated. Nice and causy place. Thanks! I recommend the Rising Sun. Do book though

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Good host. Took my husband and sister in law here and the food was superb. Really worth the travel.
A fantastic pub with a team that are always keen to help. Tim opened up especially for a mass breakfast for a large group of us this weekend and we absolutely loved it. Great food and a very welcoming atmosphere. Very smart new benches outside too. Definitely worth a visit by all.
I believe that the pub has recently changed management. Turned out Saturday night is steak night which was very good. An enjoyable night and an interesting pub.
