A block away from the hubub on the seafront, this place makes for a secluded retreat. London pride was nice and I had a rhubarb gin. Friendly Covid safe service. The summer food hut looked busy and reasonable food.

Not bad food, it was bbq day when we went so limited choice but still good. Alot easier to get a beer than the Zetland Arms..!!
Nice people, nice back garden. Landlord was very chatty and everyone said hello. Not far from the beach too.
The Rising Sun is a very nice bright yet cosy local pub minutes from the beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Good quality with decent portions and sensible prices. There is a good selection of drinks, including draft ales. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. Booking is recommended as it was nicely busy throughout the lunch service.
In my opinion, the best local pub in the area. Great beer, excellent pizza's and a fantastic atmosphere.
