Best fish and chips in the town. I went there on the off-chance a while ago for my elderly Dad as his usual chippy was shut. Dad won't let me go anywhere else now! He says they're the best he's ever had, and having tried them myself I have to agree. The fish is cooked fresh when you order, none of this sitting under a heat lamp rubbish. At 5.95 for regular fish and chips the price is also highly competitive. To top it off, the staff are excellent, always smiling, happy and chatty even though they're always busy when I go. Highly recommended.

Right Plaice this chip shop has improved over the years and has some good deals on food. There is still a little room for improvement. Food was well prepared and hot prices are a little on the high side. Staff were friendly and informative. It is worth the visit and has an extensive menu which should suit all tastes.
