I like to have my coffee and cake break in this cafe where I can enjoy the atmosphere and the lovely service. The cake selections are tasty and the coffee is just what a coffee need to be. I had a brunch once and loved the scone and jam. My husband loved the veggies breakfast though he is usually picky with breakfast options. I recommend the arm chairs by the window (my favourite place) for a relaxing time with coffee/ tea and a book.

This is the best tea shop in town! I really enjoyed my earl grey together with some scones and marmelade. Also their sandwiches are delicious. The must go for tea time.

Great tea rooms. Lovely staff. Food is delicious and very well presented. They also cater for gluten free, which is a bonus being coeliac! Would definite recommend.
When I look for the place to eat or have a drink I always aim for something unique and privately (family) owned. This place is so lovely. It’s nicely decorated and has such comfortable sofas at the window. The service is excellent and they also had a great selection of cakes on the day. Will be back if I visit Southend again. Thank you.
