I would have to give the Red Lion 5 stars for the food alone! My wife and I had a Sunday roast, which was amazing supplemented by dishes of fresh vegetables. The surroundings are really nice and quaint as well as an outside garden.

Was troubled by my star rating. The staff were lovely but, food was so disappointing. I had the steak and ale pie with chips. Frozen chips and a slice of a dry pie. Peas were even over cooked and dried out. Garlic bread was dry with no taste of garlic. If you are a pub serving grub, it MUST be homemade or it is pointless in my humble opinion. I'm so sorry.
Gorgeous village pub. Lovely atmosphere with a roaring fire. Very safe covid wise. Food lovely. We chose, sandwiches, salad and chips. Great portion, so tasty and moreish. And the coffee was divine. Had such a lovely time going to return Sunday for a roast. Totally recommend
Outside pods, perfect, we were warm and comfy, food really good standard. Everyone pleased with their food, couldnt fault our time there. Small worry.... step into carpark unlit so huge risk of broken ankle. Small light needed.! Thanks everyone helping to keep us safe and entertained.
Great service it was busy on a sunny Friday but most of the social distancing rules were being observed.
