Just held my 70th birthday party at the Red Lion. We chose a Sunday roast on a Saturday, with two choices of starter main and dessert for my guests. The soup was excellent with many people saying it was the best they have ever tasted. Mains, beef or pork went down very well. I requested out of season Rhubarb Crumble and Chocolate cake for dessert and boy were they good. Well done to the waiting staff who worked tirelessly throughout. Many thanks Amy and your staff for making my day special

As village pubs go, you would struggle to finder a warmer environment. Plenty of seating with an open fire and great food. Friendly locals mix with visitors to create a welcoming environment. Excellent.
