Lovely breakfast with my friend today. My scrambled eggs were really tasty plus beans & granary bread. My friend had a full English with alterations - no mushrooms or tomaties, extra sausage & beans for the baby - no trouble at all & a bargain at around 6/7. Very pleasant landlord & wife - very accomodating .
There is new management and the Pub re-opened in September. They cleaned up the pub and it is very nice for a pint or a meal.
Great pub! Hearty pub grub and reasonable beer selection at a good price. Cracking Sunday roast. Very child friendly with plenty of activities including a full skittles alley. To top it off, the landlord and lady are just about the friendliest ones you'll get to meet.
