Absolutely superb food. Beautifully cooked and presented! Fresh produce, freshly cooked. Chef came out to speak to us and we discussed locally sourced produce and recipes! Fabulous old English pub atmosphere. Staff were brilliant, friendly and welcoming! Definitely going back very soon, with friends!!!!

The food is superb, great family team running this place. Lovely outdoor seating as well as indoors. Wonderful find. First meal out since lockdown. Support local pubs we need good ones.
Really lovely pub. Great service, beautiful food. We were chilly but when I mentioned it the heat was put on straight away. Would have loved the fires to be lit. Not a fan of pop music playing maybe something softer. We really liked this pub and would definitely go back.
Excellent lunchtime meal today for 5. Good service with appropriate care, given the Covid situation. A beautiful village setting for a get-together. Highly recommended.
Went for lunch and had the beef & Guinness pie which was tender & delicious with a good variety of beers and cider on tap to wash it down with. Allow a little time if it’s busy, staff were cheerful and efficient, cosy, friendly environment. Enjoyed it.
