Very good best beer shandy I've had for years. Friendly staff and great value. Shame football results are not included in the price

Great pub. Eaten here many times on way to Harrogate or east coast. Sunday roast lunch is excellent and excellent value. Nice to eat proper homemade roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds. Staff are nice and was particularly impressed today by the way they were implementing new covid rules - firm but good natured
Lovely meal and a good old fashioned atmosphere
