We called in early December 2020, just before lockdown 3. Ordered burgers and beer. Great service, even offered different styles of chips. Served with cold beer at pub not normal restaurant prices. Service was quick and attentive. The burger seemed home made and not out of a frozen pack. Definitely will go back when we can.

So proud of our neighborhood pub, the Red Lion, and its owner Graham. He went all in to create a wonderfully safe space abiding by all social-distancing rules. Great food. Great service. I ordered a take away roast this Sunday gone and I was thoroughly impressed. My food was ready for collection on the dot and the staff were so helpful and kind. I ordered the roast beef and although it was well-done, it was so tasty and the meat was really tender and cooked to a very high standard with no fatty bits at all. Also, the creamed cabbage/leeks were simply amazing! overall it was extremely good value for money for such a generous sized meal and I will certainly be recommending this place to friends and family. Can't wait to visit post lockdown 2.0!
Had lovely Sunday roast & dessert. Was in a big group of 14 & we all got our food within a few mins of each other. Roast beef, Yorkshire etc... Roast choices were pork, lamb, chicken or beef. Had the chocolate bomb and ice cream for dessert. Dog friendly pub. Outside smoking area is a huge wooden structure, pool table & lots of tables. Also a grassed seating area & small kids park. Big car park, staff friendly and attentive
I have many great memories of the celebration with my the best friends from here. Good food and atmosphere, friendly service and... cold beer!
