I don't know what oil they use to cook their fish and chips in, but the smell of it put me off what would have been a lovely meal. Good chips, great fish and batter.

Just been to Red hut to pick up a meal for the family and it was lovely. Been a couple of times and no complaints. Staff are really nice also. Would recommend

Best fish and chips in South Shields and I’ve tried nearly all of them highly recommended delivery driver is friendly and easy to talk too KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK RED HUT!!

Stopped in for some chips and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the place has really been done up since the last time I was here. The manager was a great guy and even gave me a coffee on the house!
