3 words.... Sticky toffee pudding.... It was amazing. Our meal (fish and chips) with dessert was of a very high quality. It was served by a friendly and welcoming hostess in a lovely spacious environment. So pleased we were able to visit again.

Eat here this evening on the eat out scheme. Nice traditional country pub in a quiet village. We had the Duck Confit, Camembert Wedge and Steak & Chips, steak was cooked to perfection, however not the leanest steak I have every had. Also had a couple of desserts, very nice. Worth a trip off the beaten track.
Had the mussels, good portion size, really enjoyed. Landlady very enthusiastic and pleasant. A small selection of ales to choose from, good flavour, glad I was not driving. Used the eat out to help out scheme, this was a good incentive for us to travel here for food.
Very busy place with coaches on the Ring of Kerry. But everbody are smiling and helpfull and you feel welcome in the crowd. Pouring great Irish Coffees by the gallons.
The best pub in the Bridgend area by far. The food and service are first class. The owners make us feel like family everytime we visit, which unfortunately is not often enough.
