Lacking in ambiance. Slow service. While the food was very tasty, it was not served hot. When the waiter asked how it was, I told him it was only warm and he told me they serve it this temperature so it doesn't \dry out\.

We had a very lovely light lunch here , we found the outside seating area to be very comfortable with the service very prompt. Our server was very well informed and more than happy to make suggestions and gave great advice when we enquired about menu items, we were very impressed. All the food we had was absolutely spot on, as we were only grabbing a light lunch we selected from the starters and nibbles , with the salmon from the main menu for one. On a while our first visit has defiantly wet our appetite for a return visit and a chance to sample some of the mains.
My husband and I love this bar and restaurant! We have eaten here on numerous occasions and the food never disappoints. The atmosphere is fab, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff are so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend a visit.
Our evening at the Red Deer was lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The decor is simple but affective and they have done very well to give the pub a spacious yet cozy look whilst also keeping the atmosphere of both a pub and restaurant. I am sure you won’t regret going for a meal here.
Called in on impulse as we were hungry and are so glad we did. Through the Red Deer's rather generic bar-style front area is a spacious, thoughtfully designed restaurant with an outside patio, which is pretty and feels welcoming. Excellent service from Stephanie. I had the salmon fish cake and S had the crayfish and mango salad - both utterly delicious - washed down with the good, cold Czech beer. Don't normally do pud at lunchtime but the menu is so tempting... pictured: wild fruits pavlova - joyful stuff.
