The food is good. Quiet country pub. Just round the corner. Management are great. Beer is good. Plenty outdoor space to relax and have a drink in the sun. Very dog friendly.

Really delicious lunch! Chicken and broccoli pie of the day, served with handmade chips and veg, and a Turkey & gravy sandwich served on Spanish bread. Chips were thick cut, double fried and extremely tasty! Will definitely visit again to try more dishes on offer.
Disappointed is an understatement! Heard many good things about this place over the years and when i finally got to go myself, i really wish i hadn't. I really don't know where to start, but here go's. The menu on the website was completely different to what it actually is at the pub. Very limited choice. The food on the menu was over-exaggerated for example \hand cut chips and home made onion rings\ was clearly just frozen ones. The food itself although it tasted okay, made us sick. I don't believe it was food poisoning because the sickness came within an hour of eating. We didn't eat anything else that day before coming, so i can't think of anything else it could be. The staff wasn't up to much, no offence but they seemed very inexperienced. From seeing other reviews, this seems to be a recent dip in quality and maybe one day things could improve. But we certainly won't be returning.
Really nice eatery. The food was delicious, very tasty and really hot. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming especially Emily who was lovely, always coming to see if we were OK and needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. There is also an outside seating area which is very nice to sit in looking over the beautiful scenery.
