We visited on a Sunday and as a veggie I really fancied a roast so I had the meatless roast (not on the menu but I asked if they could do a version without meat). My partner is the opposite and had the three meat roast and both of us really enjoyed our meals, the food was excellent. The service was friendly, efficient and they were very accommodating of my veggie request. My only slight negative would be to take a jumper the room we ate is was chilly!

Tasty food and friendly service in a proper pub. Not much atmosphere but it was an early lunch reservation with not many others in at the time. Highly recommend the baked camembert, that alone was worth the trip!

(Before lockdown)Excellent! Every time we've been it has been top draw, couldn't fault food, service or drinks. Would highly recommend going, would advice to book if visiting for food. Staff and restaurant really good. Can't rate the food enough, would recommend paying that little bit extra to come here. You do need to park in the high street but there is always spaces and definitely worth a visit

A cosy traditional pub in the beautiful village of Malmesbury. The manager and staff were so friendly and accommodating. A roaring fire, great wine and delicious food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or visit again!
