First visit here. The food was lovely. Only one critic is that the beef hot baguette needed a pot of gravy as part of the meal. Desserts were amazing. Yum!!!

Good food at reasonable prices. They also do small portions for those with a smaller appetite. Surroundings very comfortable and tables well spaced apart. Staff friendly and attentive without being in your face. Would highly recommend.
Cracking food, lovely welcoming atmosphere, really good old fashioned traditional values and just a great place to be. What more could anyone want? This is THE PLACE to eat wonderfully home cooked food sensitively and thoughtfully served. It scores 15 out of 10 for me.
Very good roast dinner today. Beef roast and Gammon roast . Nice and pleasant atmosphere all so nice and clean give it 5 star. Will call again.
Sunday lunch was very tasty. Good value for money and freshly home cooked food. Generous quantity of meat and vegetables, two large Yorkshire puddings. 2 or 3 course option. Gravy was already poured over the food, perhaps a gravy pot would have been better or be offered. Good choice of starters and desserts and specials board option too, as well as their regular menu. Vegetarian option also. Staff very attentive to customer needs, good service and polite. Booking is a must, as very busy, not likely to get a table on walk ins. Meals served til late. Carparking available. Toilets need a makeover asap, cold and damp- Shame as the rest of the pub is lovely.
