After hearing an advert on HitMix radio we decided to see if there had been any improvements from when we last visited as we heard there had been a change of landlord/lady. We met the barmaid and the new cook : seems like they are on the right track. Pound meals reintroduced on Wednesday from 5pm : just buy a drink. And a new menu generally. Fixtures and fittings need updating but definitely better than the last time we were there......will definitely go back.

Brilliant value Wednesday1 meals. Lots of choice and home made meals. Friendly and efficient staff in a cosy surrounding. Well worth a visit.

First visit for us - Great atmosphere good beer really nice barmaid lots of character and dog friendly - what more do you need
