Ace little traditional boozer close to the station. We missed our train so we spent a half hour in The Railway enjoying a very good guinness. Friendly barmaid and brilliant old school decorations (horse brasses, old guinness ads, parrot!!!) I would love to have a pub like this near my house!
If there were awards for rude landladies, then this one would be a repeat winner. Feel the term service-industry is lost on her; and the fact that we were the only paying customers in there made this even better. Looking forward to going back...
It's a dated pub which could do with some investment and a bit of a drinkers hangout. However I gave it 4 because we had an enjoyable pint in the lounge area and I would go again if I fancied a quick pint. The owner was very friendly
