Although pubs are going through a hard time at the moment, during this Pandemic, the Queens Head couldn't have been more accommodating. The staff are really friendly, polite and professional, under the circumstances. The food was stunning and plentiful and the surroundings, although socially distanced, was as it should be for a Pub of this age. Brilliant and well worth a visit.

We Visited this pub a few months back while on a mini holiday with the family . If I lived local i would make this my local pub Amazing staff who are very friendly and the food and beer choice was superb , I will visit again when I’m in the area.

At lunch time on 14.10.20. my wife and I made a superb find. Easy parking. The sanitisation arrangements were clearly marked out and really excellent - making you feel very safe. We found the service and food to be of a really high standard, so much so we went back today and have booked for tomorrow. If we are ever in this locality again we will certainly return. So The Queens Head has our highest possible recommendation and we are grateful to them for making our break in this area even more enjoyable. As an added extra our two small dogs were made very welcome. Many thanks.

Great place for a drink and a meal. Went for an evening meal with my wife. A lovely pub with log fires, friendly atmosphere, good service and a relaxed feel. It's a proper pub, not a pretend pub. The food is good - great range, fresh cooked, hot and filling - really enjoyed the meal. Good Guinness also!
