Great food and service. My wife loved the outside 'tent', fairly lights, Xmas decor and open fires - highly recommend.

Brilliant country pub - food was great, staff are all welcoming and make an effort. They are very coronavirus conscious with hand gel, face masks all well adhered to. Staff all making sure everyone felt comfortable within the rules. We ate an early dinner (Christmas Sunday roast) which was tasty, they have an open fire which is a massive plus. Good wine selection. Outside they have a winter garden covered area with open fire and heaters, creating a good dining place for larger groups. A great choice for our first dinner in Dorking and we will definitely visit again!

A great pub!! Lovely atmosphere especially the Tepee, so unique and beautifully done. The food and service is amazing. Would highly recommend when they are allowed to open.

This was our first meal out since lockdown & it did not disappoint! We opted for the Queens Head Burgers, a bottle of German Riesling (- would highly recommend for a date night) & sourdough bread and butter for starters. Burger was cooked to perfection (medium like I loved it) and the blue cheese was complimentary to the meat and the other condiments. We are big dessert people so we couldn’t resist trying out the Poached Peach and Blood Orange Sorbet and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The desserts on a whole weren’t satisfactory, despite the generous portions. Sticky - yes. Toffee - yes. Pudding - stodgy and had to chase around the plate. Atmosphere was lovely enough to come back for a spot of lunch and shame we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful terrace due to the rain!
