Steeped in character. Food was lovely. Staff couldn't do enough for you. And very friendly. Was defiantly worth the drive over to the village. Would definitely return.. Loved it...

A very nice place to while away an hour or two, the beer is well kept and tastes perfect, as for the food, I ordered a chicken and ham pie, it came with chips and mushy peas, it was delightful, plenty of chicken and ham, the pastry was light and very good, a better pie I have yet to eat.
Friendly locals. Very welcoming.
