Honestly, one of the best medium-rare steaks I've ever had. Burgers? DELICIOUS! And don't get me started on the desserts. Portions are very generous and service is 10/10! We had to book another night for dinner just to try different things. Definitely will return in the future!

First return visit after covid19 hit, following all current guidelines for social distancing and providing plenty of sanitizing stations. Menu simplified, but does offer a vegan option for main dish and dessert. All food and drink now table service so booking recommended. Good selection of local beer and other drinks. Large beer garden, still fantastic friendly and welcoming staff. Warm cosy and delightful, will definitely return many more times.
Visited a week ago. was my first visit since the new social distancing measures and I have to say well done. All systems in place and a huge beer garden to safely social distance. the only thing I might suggest is making it clearer at the back entrance about the one way system, as I completely missed this and came in the wrong way but bravo. You have always been a great pub and it's good to seeing you back
Friendly staff, beautiful food and generous portions. Everything was delicious and is safe to say, it was one of the best burgers we have ever had!
Such a beautiful quaint little inn. Fabulous service and delicious, home cooked and freshly made food. Dog friendly and excellent Covid procedures in place. Well worth a visit.
