Nice old pub but ashamedly managed. Dirty everywhere, plates and food left on the empty tables, glasses in the unclean bathroom. Once seated, we had to ask for a cloth to clean our table that was evidently dirty. I've eaten in a broken plate and had to clea my mouth with a cheaper paper serviette, the same used for camping, because they don't provide proper table napkins. We have been instantly served our microwaved food with all the veg on the plate heavely irrorated with granular grevy. The sauces came straight from a packet, the apple sauce we have been served was the same used into the apple souce croissants...kids enjoyed that fakly sugary flavour. Three young ladies were in charge but they seemed all three totally oblivious about the evident problems the pub present. Service was bad as the rest of it and after having to battle with the flies that infested the main room, my wife decided to leave the food and go back to the car as fast as we can. We should had expected something bad considering that on Sunday lunch the pub was nearly empty at exeption for couple of tables. It's a shame that such lovely building with all its potential is managed in that surreal way. Hopefully the owner will end reading this review and make something good of it. Good luck.
