A truly lovely meal, in a lovely setting, with lovely staff. We went for Sunday roast, it came out piping hot with delicious veggies and was just heaven! We also had a look round the shop and picked up some lovely produce. Can't wait to go back!

Our first time having food from The Queen, and it was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had - can't wait till we can sit in and have a proper meal here.
This was the best food we had in Suffolk. Very imaginative menu with a deep fried cod cheeks as a starter in caper sauce. That was lovely. Service was very friendly and efficient. The premises are really nice and there is a massive garden for COVID purposes. Highly recommended.
Visited for Sunday lunch - during corona. No booking. Almost empty pub. We were welcomed warmly and seated at a great table straight away. Charming informal service. Atmosphere: comfortable. a smartened up dining pub, not over tarted up, retaining some original features. But the duck boarded walls and new bar are, well, new-looking. All surfaces well painted (to within an inch of their lives...). Food: mine: good black pudding scotch egg, would have been excellent if the egg had had a hint of runny yolk. As it was it was near hard boiled. A big portion. Then a delicious main. Companion: excellent chilli squid/octopus. A Very poor roast beef ‘Sunday lunch roast’. Definitely avoid this option. Very tough meat. Good Yorkshire pudding. Potatoes good. Veg less so. Advice based on this visit: a comfortable pub with decent food but avoid the roasts at all costs. Food and drink prices absolutely average for the area.
Really super place for a Friday night supper. Delicious food with good choices for vegetarians and gluten free. Tables well spaced indoors and out
