The Quarry really is a well maintained beauty spot in Shrewsbury. Little eatery, places to sit and relax, lovely river walks and old historic buildings and bridges. Great for families, couples or someone just looking to sit and relax and take 5.

Great place. Play area is adequate for all ages of children. Social distancing been put in place also.
A very pleasant walk. Choose your time, lots of dog walkers and bikes so early or lunchtime might be best for quiet stroll.
Wonderful place to take the family. There's plenty of space for the kids to run about. Ball games are allowed on the grass too. Just beware of cyclists when walking on the path along the river, especially if you have toddlers who walk in all directions. There's a nice large play park for the kids with a coffee shop for the parents. There's also an ice cream van located there as well. If you're looking for somewhere to spend an hour or two for very little Spends, this is the place.
Wow places like this are not normally free !! It’s a must stop while you here or passing though Parking can be sometimes tricky but what place isn’t right ? It’s a 5/10 min walk around and it’s taken into account time for selfies You can long it out. It’s a fairy tail land where kids will love and just great place to take some photos with loved ones. We remember the times we spend in magical places like these. Wish we had more :)
