Extremely wide variety of reptile, aquatic and aviary pet supplies, along with things for dogs, cats and small mammals. Very knowledgeable staff! Say hello to the shop pet Charlie the Cockatoo as you walk in, and if you are unsure about anything pertaining to reptiles, the member of staff we dealt with was amazing, really helpful and could answer every question we had very easily, we feel confident our pets will be getting the best care thanks to him. We would highly recommend this pet shop!

First time visiting after being recommend by a few people. Spent a good 40 minutes or more in there looking around after pre-ordering some bugs the day before to pick up. The animals are clearly well looked after and came out happy because the staff have such knowledge on the animals they keep there. The lady (I assume is the owner) took the time to talk to me about my beaded dragons and made suggestions on food. I didn't realise there was so many choices on bugs before. Thank you I will be making this a regular visit.

My family and I travel from Essex to visit the purple pet centre/world of fishes. I have been keeping fish and exotic animals for almost 20 years, and I haven’t found anywhere that understands and meets the needs of all the animals they sell, as well as purple pets do. The animals always look happy and healthy, with the correct use of equipment, in clean, suitably sized enclosures. They are knowledgeable about all the animals in their care, but I’d say experts in the fish/reptile/amphibians. Always a great selection of dry goods and equipment at online prices. We haven’t visited in a while due to Covid, but plan another trip soon, hopefully.
