Visited for the first time with the eat out scheme running and it was great to see the place full! Felt very dafe with the covid procedures as well. The pizza is amazing! Really great hidden gem for Wellington and highly recommend a visit! Don't be put off by how hidden it is, really worth it!!! We shall be back.

Amazing place, amazing food and amazing people. Hosted a large group of us and staff were attentive and generous. Had a lovely chat with chef Stefano at the end of the evening and Jules was on hand throughout the evening canvassing the restaurant. Definitely going back (sooner rather than later)

Simply amazing! This place really is special. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, every part of our meal was incredible. The building itself is really quirky with a great little beer garden by the river and it definitely feels like you're somewhere other than little old Wellington! There's funky music from reggae to hip hop and super cosy fairy lights spanning the ceiling. Everyone was really friendly and we felt so welcomed. And most importantly, the FOOD!! Where do I begin! We decided to go all out and order almost everything off the menu (it was all tapas) and everything was out of this world delicious. Just take my word for it, these people know how to make great food. Special mention to the barman too for creating the prettiest Espresso Martini I've ever had! If you're umming and ahhing about coming here then just do it. You won't be disappointed. Jules and Stefano really know how to do dining out right and I'm so glad and grateful we now have this amazing place on our doorstep! I honestly cannot wait to return. For food, for drinks, for birthdays, for Christmas - The Pump House is now my favourite place to go and I'll be frequenting it as much as possible. Thanks so much Jules and Stefano, how lucky are we to have you!

Delightful new real Italian restaurant set in an atmospheric old pump house that the restaurant owners have brought to life. Very convivial, excellent and interesting food...portion size a big on the big side. Choices for everyone including v and vg. Really looking forward to going again when they are doing pizzas.
