The question is how was the Puffin Billy Inn? Well let me tell you it was excellent I didn't eat here but could see from the amount of people eating that the quality and range of food was to high standards The staff were accommodating and best of all really friendly. I like a good ale and a fresh barrel of Proper job was just ready and a damn fine pint it was too Couldn't fault the establishment for presentation and cleanliness Twas also idyllic with the sound of the sea just of in the distance. Thumbs up from me, definitely returning here.

Great food and excellent, attentive, helpful service. Not just well presented, but very tasty and interesting. No excessive adjectives or wordy over description in the menu. For once the eating experience was better than the menu description. At the time of eating, 25% off on Mondays even better value for money.

Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Our pre-booked takeaway meal record took a little finding and then when it was found I was given our first phoned order and not the updated version but the meals were ready after a reasonable wait. Once home the quantities and quality were generally good but some of the vegetables were far too hard. The Christmas eve meal included plastic novelty free crackers which was a nice touch. Value for money? Yes. Would we do it again? Yes, for a special occasion, but I would request that the vegetables be cooked for longer.

Visited the first Friday evening after the most recent lock down ended. Visit was disappointing. Although seated near the fire there was a considerable draft which made it uncomfortable and unfortunately the chicken in my burger was hot at the edge but cold in the middle. It was returned to the kitchen but the replacement was the same. Fearing it not being cooked through thoroughly I left it. Perhaps we should have waited another week and they would have been back in the swings of things.
